Patrick is considered one of the most influential practitioners in his field, with clients across a wide variety of sectors. He also has a successful academic career and was Nierenberg Chair at Carnegie-Mellon University, considered the most prestigious design education appointment in the USA. He has a psychology PhD, over 100 academic publications and six books.
